Mitsubishi alarm E04 DEVICE NOT READY

The Mitsubishi E04 ' DEVICE NOT READY ' error message typically indicates the CNC parameters do not match the Calmotion parameters. Match the baud rate, flow control and RS232 port settings on Calmotion to the Mitsubishi.

• Check communication parameters (see Mitsubishi users manual)

• Cable incorrectly configured or not connected. Make sure that the included Calmotion cables and connectors are being used.

Fanuc Alarm 87 BUFFER OVERFLOW

Fanuc P/S Alarm 87 ' BUFFER OVERFLOW '

• Flow Control or Data/Parity/Stop parameters are not configured properly

Compare the Fanuc settings and the Calmotion settings. The flow control settings need to be the same as well as the RS232 port settings.

Typical Fanuc setting for flow control would be XON/XOFF or DC codes. The Calmotion will need to be set to SW XON/XOFF

Typical Fanuc RS232 port settings are 7 data bits, Even parity and 2 stop bits. Set the Calmotion to the same.
