Product Description
The MC104M is
a cost effective version of
the MC104P. The same feature
sets are available to take
advantage of the PC104
platform and combining it
with Microchip's powerful
microcontroller platform.
The MC104M features the
PIC18F8527 as an alternative
to the PIC18F8722 for users
who do not require large
program memory flash.
The PIC18F8527 processor is
a powerful member of the
popular PIC® family of
microcontrollers with many
software and hardware tools
available to aid in
development. The MC104M
is a low cost PC104
compatible controller with
full I/O addressing
capability. The rugged
PC104 board form factor
gives users an open platform
to add standard and
specialty I/O boards.
Engineers can quickly add
building block modules such
as high resolution analog,
video, optically isolated
I/O, serial ports or motion
cards using the PC104
architecture.
Microchip's MPLAB® ICD2 connector is provided for use with the MPLAB® ICD2 programmer/debugger from Microchip. Combined with any one of the low cost software tools from Microchip and its partners, the MC104p has powerful development and diagnostic capabilities.
