LANCNC-MAZ

 In addition to storage capability, files can be easily accessed as a remote ftp site on a network. This allows a user to back up copies of CMT files as well as the ability to quickly share files across multiple machines. Standard software that comes with a PC, such as Internet Explorer from Microsoft, can be used to access machine files. There are no additional license requirements. A backlit 4 line LCD display with 3 button input is used to select files and directories for file management at the CNC.
Files can be loaded from remote locations on the network by the operator. There are no files needed to modify to initiate a remote request, the operator simply looks for the required file on the LANCNC-MAZ display and loads it.
Ethernet access can be left unconnected and is not required to store and recall Mazatrol CMT files. If desired, the SD card can be easily removed and replaced as needed.
 

The LANCNC-MAZ provides almost unlimited data storage capability of Mazak CMT type files. Operators can save and recall files with an easy to use operator interface (4 line LCD display) included with the LANCNC-MAZ and the USBCNC-MAZ.

 MAZAK CMT (Ethernet or USB versions)

 The Calmotion Mazak controllers act as a data storage device for Mazak CNC machines that use the CMT-I/O interface for Mazak conversational programs. They can be used to replace the cassette tape or floppy drive units used with legacy Mazak controls such as the Mazak T1, M2, M32....

The trouble and effort of managing unreliable media used in the cassette tape and floppy disks is eliminated by replacing dated storage media with a modern flash devices. The LANCNC-MAZ stores files locally using non-proprietary SD cards common in digital cameras while the USB version interfaces with standard off the shelf USB keys. In both products, a 2 GB flash device is provided as standard, but larger versions can be substituted. The Ethernet and USB controllers for Mazak conversational programs can also be used with G code programs.

The USBCNC-MAZ is a pendant mount controller that allows operators to use USB flash keys for file uploading and downloading of Mazatrol programs. A panel mount water proof USB connector is provided for mounting on the machine's pendant.
